Oh My Handphone!

I'm getting sad and upset over my stupid handphone. This Sony Ericsson K800i is which I bought and own for 2 years . Now my handphone is a bit "physical - retarded" and broken yet it is still can be used. Only the joystick is completely broken and nut, only can move to right and to down. And also sometimes self-shutdown...Oh my gosh, why it happened like that?

One time, my handphone went crazy. Actually my handphone seems was working but when I came to online, my friend confronted me asking why I didn't reply his messages. I was shocked and stated that no messages received on that day. I borrowed the extra phones from my mother and found out that there really got messages. I feel funny as the signal in SE K800i was alright. So I masterly reset the handphone setting plus lost the GPRS setting. Aiyoo...I'm lazy to fix it. Hehe

Recently, I was thinking of wanting to buy a new handphone so I visited Sony Ericsson website. There are new handphones to be introduced but its date of release are still not announced yet. So I read those specifications to make survey and comparison. Upon learning the lesson I had with SE K800i, I decided not to buy the handphone with joystick.

In the SE wesbite, there are 2 types of handphones that grabbed my attention. They are SE C902 and G900. Those are available in red color. That's my favourite color ^_^

Sony Ericsson C902




Sony Ericsson C902 has a surprisingly small 2" 262K-color TFT display of QVGA resolution. As a camera-centric phone, the C902 bundles up a 5 megapixel auto-focus shooter offering a good range of niceties. Among them are face detection, image and video stabilizer, BestPic, auto-rotate, macro mode, photoflash LED etc.

Sony Ericsson G900





Sony Ericsson G900 is physically to the G700 with a 2.4" 262K-color TFT display of QVGA resolution. However the G900 has more to offer than its sibling - bringing Wi-Fi support and a 5 megapixel auto-foucs camera it looks set to cause high-tech high-end excitement.

As with the G700, UMTS support with video calls is also on board, along with stereo Bluetooth and an M2 memory card slot. Sony Ericsson also made a big deal of their Notes applications that allows you to organize your life with electronic yellow Sticky Notes.

Wow, there are a long list of specifications that those are featured. Some are totally different from the current and previous models. I don't know which one is the best. =S But one thing I only know that the price of those are not simply cheap..should be at least RM2K to 3K..@_@ Like that, I should save money from now on.. Expensive price but worthy to use. =P

Engine Sentai Go-Onger

One of Toei Company's 32 Super Sentai series of Japanese tokusatsu television dramas. Being similiar or/and different from the previous series dramas, the series emphasizes more on the motif of animals, the motor industry and environmentalism.

THE STORY

In the Machine World, one of the eleven Frame Dimension beside from our own dimension that is known as Human World, it is a home to the giant vehicular beings called Engines. The Engines waged a war against the enemies called Gaiark who wish to pollute their world. However, losing in the war with Engines, the Gaiark escaped through time and space and then ended up on Earth.

Earth now become their new target as they found out that Earth is too easy to get corrupted and be their ideal paradise. So they began wrecking havoc on Earth by sending their mechanic monster to pollute the lands, waters and air. Luckily, the Engines managed to pursue them to Earth plus recruited humans to become their partners, the Go-Ongers. Now they have to fight the Gaiark in order to protect the Earth and stop their polluting. The future of the Earth is on the Go-Ongers' hands.

Okie, a few months ago when i feel bored and wanna get rid of boredness, so I browsed into www.youtube.com and came across this Japanese tokusatsu television drama, Go-Onger. I found out that this drama is a very interesting and funny story. ^_^

Totally different from the previous dramas, the heroes acted like children.. they always picked on each others for small things...which makes me laugh until my parents thought I went nutty. XD Their portraying own character are very satisfying.

What's more is that the Mecha in this serial drama called the Engines. Also different from the other Mecha in the previous ones, the Engines are really a giant vehicular being and they even can talk... wow wow!!! When they are not in Engine mode, they would appear out from their morpher and looks like a chibi in 2D form. Very cute ^_^

Earth Day

HISTORY OF 22ND APRIL EARTH DAY



In September 1969 before it become the official Earth Day, U.S Senator Gaylord Nelson, a man who is concerned about the environmental issue and crisis, invited people into participating in a national service; the nationwide grassroots demonstration on behalf of the environment. He proposed this nationwide environmental protest onto the national agenda.

Oh yeah, it did worked and successfully grabbed the attention of the Americans. The story has carried and spread from coast to coast. Beyond expection, the responses were like a thundershock, which telegrams, letters and telephone calls keep flooding and flooding in the U.S Senate office. And then the American finally set a forum up to express their concern about what had been happening to the lands, rivers, lakes, seas and air.

Because of the massive numbers of responses to widespread environment degradation, Senator Gaylord was summoned for an environment teach-in on 22nd April 1970. Over 200 million people participated that year and so then Earth Day was officially established. Now Earth Day is observed each year by more than 500 million people and national governments in 175 countries.

With the celebration of Earth Day, I was really happy as the people still remember the Earth Day and greet others Happy Earth Day. But , I'm somehow a bit unhappy as people nowadays never show the appreciation to the grassroots level. As you know, our beloved island, the climate in Penang is getting hotter and hotter... for real you know! Truly crazy >_<

My friends who are used to stay in Penang or once been Penangites before, came here for a few days but complaint to me that Penang nowadays are terribly hot and they need 5 - 6 sheets to wipe off the sweats. During their stays, they ventured somewhere in Penang and noticed that mostly of areas has been deforested and cleared for development plan. They described Penang as the "concrete jungle" due to this reason.

I couldn't say they are wrong and I really have admitted that they are truly right. I still remember back the time where I was a little kid. Usually after the school, my mum'd fetch me home which is located in Jelutong. Ahh, quite far from Tanjung Bungah. @_@ On the way to home, I would enjoy seeing the tall trees along the road. Somemore, when getting through hillside road, there were many tall and big trees standing to shelter the road and the sky was barely to be seen.

But now? As you can see, many areas have been cleared and deforested for housing or development plan projects. Everywhere on the road is being exposed to the glaring sunlight. It's really a pain in our eyes when staring at the sky! >_<>

Speakerdog Paper Toys!!

When I browse into this, it suddenly reminded me of the moment when I was in previous company. Some colleague and I always secretly printed the cute character or origami using the FujiXerox printer when the head of department was not in. Actually the printer can't be used for personal use... Hahaha... We printed on the hard paper and cut, fold and glued the origami...

Now I've found a good site where you can download then just print, cut, fold, glue and play with it! You can use any kind of paper to print on. Recycled paper will do. Saint Seiya

Yesterday I've just finished reading this manga namely "Saint Seiya" which is almost forgotten in present time, and it took me 3 days (@_@) to complete reading yet it is in chinese version >_<. Actually, I have been desperately searching for this manga since my brother bought only one book and it is Volume 8. Still the story in each chapters are still clearly vivid in my mind. It makes its the most favourite manga. This manga was really hard to find in the shop and nowadays, many manga website dont have this manga. =(
And I also bought some anime to relive my memory. However, anime that featured The Sanctuary Chapter and The Hades Chapter are almost incomplete without a few of last episodes. =( Waste my $... Luckily the featured anime of Asgard and Poseidon are completed. I somehow really enjoyed the Poseidon arc mostly because the concept was based on the lost city of Altantis. And also the armors that the villains wore are called "Scales". It's said that those are made of Orichalcum, a rare metal which is said to have existed in the meteorite which sunk the Atlantis.

PLOT OVERVIEW
Seven years back before the events at the focus of the series, one hundred orphans from Japan are sent to different countries for the training to become a saint of Athena. Because of some orphans died on the training, one of these orphans called Seiya who is sent to the Sanctuary in Greece and obtained the Pegasus Bronze Cloth is being focused as the main character. Returning to Japan to find his older sister who disappeared on the same day Seiya went to the Sanctuary, Saori Kido, makes a deal with him to go to fight in a tournament called the Galaxian Wars where the orphans who survived and became bronze saints must fight to win the most powerful cloth: The Sagittarius gold cloth. If Seiya goes to compete there, Saori would start a search to find the sister of Seiya. Soon, Seiya befriends with the other Bronze Saints, Andromeda Shun, Dragon Shiryu, Cygnus Hyoga and Phoenix Ikki. As the myth of the saints, they have to fight together to protect the reincarnation of Athena from ant danger.

SANCTUARY ARC
It begins with the "GalaxianWars" tournament which the Bronze Saints has to participle to obtain the prize of Sagittarius Gold Cloth. However, it was interrupted by Phoenix Ikki who stole the Sagittarius Gold Cloth at bequest of Pope Ares. Soon, they discovered that Saori Kido is the reincarnation of Goddess Athena and Pope Ares were behind all the happening. The Saints went to the Sanctuary to battle the twelve Gold Saints and figure out who is Pope Ares really.

ASGARD ARC
The Bronze Saints have to travel to Asgard to battle Hilda who is corrupted and influenced under the Nibelung Ring. Under the influence of the Nibelung Ring, Hildy attempted to flood the Earth by melting the polar ice and summon her seven God Warriors. In order to retrieve Odin Robe to restore Asgard back to what it was, the Saints have to battle God Warriors to get the gem in their own possession. While Athena take Hildy's place temporarily to pray and stop the flood. Are they able to get the Odin Robe and break the curse of the Nibelung Ring?

Note: It didn't exist in manga.

POSEIDON ARC
The war against Poseidon who wishes to drown the Earth with the Great Flood to purify the planet. The Saints has to rescue Athena who is imprisoned inside Main Breadwinner in the realm of Poseidon which is just underneath the world's oceans by battling seven Poseidon Mariner and breaking the Mammoth Pillar. Still, they were unable to demolish the Main Breadwinner and were confronted by Poseidon himself. Will the miracle happen? And who will be victorious?

HADES ARC
Sensing Hades has returned to Earth along with the 108 Demon Stars as Scepters plus the revived Gold Saints and other Saints. The mission of the revived Gold Saints is has to get through the Sanctuary to get Athena's head for Hades. Understanding the true intention of the revived Gold Saints and Virgo Shaka's suicide, Athena sacrifriced her herself for the ability to live in the underworld. The Bronze Saint discovered the true intention of the revived Saints, who came to live once again to warn Athena about Hades and reawaken Athena's Holy Cloth. With the upgraded Bronze Cloth to ultimate level with Athena's Blood, they have to awake their 8th senses and continue to wage the ongoing war in the Underworld. What will happen afterwards?

CHARACTERS

Saori Kido, the reincarnation of Athena
Duty to restore peace, bring hope, destroy the evil agent and protect the Earth along with the aid of 88 Athena's Saints. She didn't believe in conquest and only fought defensive wars. She also never hesitate to do anything for her sake, even sacrificing their lives gladly.


Pegasus Seiya, the Bronze Saint
Despite on being reckless, he has an uncanny talent of understanding the mechanic of opponent's technique. His determination and courage really overcome many obstacle as he has own will to serve Athena, protect justice and peace on Earth as well as his friends.


Dragon Shiryu, the Bronze Saint
The most matured and thus the wisest, he displayed the true heroic spirit during the battles. Though he is donning on the Cloth with its legendary defense properties, he always don't rely on his Cloth and believe in his own physical strength, would fight without it on.


Cygnus Hyoga, the Bronze Saint
Seem appears calm, calculating, collected and being unemotional. However, despite on his appearance, he is really passionate and devoted to his ideals. Though he seems a tough guy, he in fact really appreciate the people around him and never let anyone get hurt.


Andromeda Shun, the Bronze Saint
Oh yeah, he is my favourite! Perhaps one of the strongest characters, his gentle and kind nature reserved him not to fight unless he is forced to do so. He rather making a sacrifice/getting hurt than letting anyone get hurt. His chains are extensively powerful living weapon.


Phoenix Ikki, the Bronze Saint
Oh yeah, he is my another one of favourite! He is harsh, cold and aggressive, but he is still reliable. With his noble character, he would come to battle whenever Athena's Saints need his help and never doubt whenever it's necessary to sacrifice his life for his friends.

Well, that's my overview after reading a complete series. Hmm, in my opinion, this series is basically very good. Unfortunately, this series are stopped and discontinued due to low rating and left with uncompleted Heaven arc. I really wish the artist, Masami Kurumada can continue this arc. I'm interested to read more and more. It is really the best I ever read in my life. If can, I also wish the artist Masami Kurumada to remake this series to be better storyline.

Hopefully my message can reach Masami Kurumada. =D

My Template Changed!!

Lately, many friends notified me that my blog got problem to be viewed due to template issue. How stupid it is!!!

I've replaced with new template. Hope it'd work out for you. However, it was classic code style template. I don't know how to set it. Luckily, my best friend, Selina Ooi taught me. =D It was really funny to play with codes in classic template. (^_^) and I learnt something new in blogger. ;)

Sorry for no news being posted. But don't worry, I will update my blog soon. (*wink)

Should I try or Not?

This was my artwork from the final year project as well as graduation project at Equator Academy of Art in year 2005. My effort is still vivid in my mind, what kind of characters I should show/exhibit or how long I have spent time on developing those characters... That was very enjoyable which I had spend a lot of time to make survey on the artist's conceptualization like Darkstalkers or Horror creature. Since I was not very good in drawing real-like detailed characters, so I came to "chibi" concept with cute expression as you see in my artwork above.

Recently, I have browsed the blog website, "tokidoki" which discussed about his current development on his character. I was really surprised that he is really talented illustrator. My colleague told me that he is really very famous in UK and mostly in world. o_o I recall my colleague talking how he made himself famous in the commercial world. He was only doing his personal website about his artwork. Not very long, his website become the top ten. A company invited him to form a business. All his characters are sold in any form of product such apparels, bags, jewellery etc... He is damn great artist and illustrator.

Hmm, long time after the day of my graduation, I never practice on drawing character any more. Now I feel I am still far away behind if compared to him. (*sigh). My colleague who saw my talent pursued me to try to be like that illustrator. -_- It's really impossible and impossible mission... My talent has been buried away so long since I started working in same year after my graduation. Anyway, I will try to relive and revive my talent back.. Hehehe... I need some time and moral support =P to improve and strengthen my concept . My skill is still blunt, need to sharpened for time being before I could be better artist.

Well, I sometimes feel funny about this. Usually I always got many ideas, but still unable to project on papers or computer... Funny is it? It also happened to my colleague. He said he always got many ideas but when doing, it will be totally different from what he wanted. Haiz me neither. When not achieving what I wanted, I was really furious and sometimes put blame on myself... Hehe what to do.. I believe designer do experience the same way as I am... Everything is not so perfect and if there are really a perfect thing, then it would be flawed in no time. I believe, as if there are imperfection, why not making it perfect yourself? Like when you are drawing apple on white paper, the apple appeals beautiful but still look lonely in spacious white area... Why not adding something to make it more beautiful.

Like old days, I need to make some survey and think of what kind of characters I should show/exhibit and improve the expression. I was not really satisfied with my old artwork because on that time, I was kinda in hurry and didn't have to mold the proper espression. It was rather commonly cute but still not consisted of the horror expression. Hmm, I will try to re-create, redevelop, restyle and rebrand the old characters I did before. Who will know it would be successful one day. =P Perhaps I will try add female and other horror characters more. It is temporarily unconfirmed yet. Gambatte, I say to myself!!! =P

Taboo Food or Not

When it comes to this topic, I suddenly recall that one of my colleagues had once told me there got some people like eating taboo food such like squirrel, rat and etc. 0_0 Another colleague who is from Sabah admitted he did and he ate those animals for real. He said he is used to eat those because it is the common traditional in his hometown. People in his hometown would capture whatever they've spotted any animal in forest and bring them back to home and eat..

Have you heard or read about taboo food before? What do you know about taboo food? Why such taboo food exist in this world? What kind of animal or insect we can eat or cannot eat? Are taboo food really safe and clean to be eaten? What are the advantages or disadvantages of eating them? We really exactly don't know about them so much. However, one thing we only know is taboo food is against certain religion for sure.

As you know, the muslims are not allowed to eat pork as the chinese do eat. Indians and chinese are originally not allowed to eat beef but nowadays beef has become common food to them. As I know the reason why the chinese are not allowed to eat beef, in old times where old people feel its wrong to eat cow that was really so useful in agriculture. While the Indians serves cow as their own sacred god, they consider killing or slaughtering a cow as a grave sin. Mostly in western country, they who are not really religious would hunt and eat anything and anything they want or like.

Alright, have you seen people eating rattlesnake, crocodiles or some insects? Didn't you find it is so really gross or disgusting to eat or see people eating such like? However to those who eat those, they consider those as healthy food or preferably a medicine to their "personal" desire. Some would say it's great for those who has a low sex drive and call it as the best aphrodisiac. Some say a result of health considerations or other practical considerations. Some say a result of human symbolic systems.. I don't know it's really true and am kinda scared wanna eat those hehe..

In China and Bangkok, there are a lot of stalls selling insects everywhere on the street. Commonly eaten insects and arachnids include grasshoppers, crickets, termites, ants, beetle larvae (grubs), moth caterpillars and pupae, spiders, tarantulas, and scorpions. Fried insect… Lollipops with insects… The reason is protein production for human consumption would be more effective and consume fewer resources than animal protein. This makes insect meat more ecological than vertebrate meat.

Old times in Africa, there were some tribe doing cannibalism which they have to kill human and eat its human flesh… It were not their own wish but the Englishmen who came to their place to make drugs and disturbed their peace by enslaving the African males to help making drugs while raping and killing African women for their own pleasure. It caused the anger and hatred among the African tribe. Of course it do sounds scary but whose is at its fault? They are just humans like us, got feeling and emotion.

In this world, there still a lot of mysteries being unfolded and need to be discovered hehehe…

Virus Hacker on MSN!!

My MSN was been scammed by virus hacker. Thanks for my stupidity and curiosity... Usually when my friend send me link url, I would like to click it to open without knowing it was really send by my friend or not... At one time, my friend send me an URL so I opened it and it asked me to type my password in order to process the next step. Without thinking twice, I typed it in then browse through but there was nothing interested. Next day, I logged in my MSN but few minutes, my MSN suddenly log in other computer. I finally realized it was virus hacker. So I immediately changed my password in my email. Luckily it didn't get serious at all... Learnt my lesson, now I have to be careful when receiving any URL.. Hehe

Lately, I noticed that most of my friends have been scammed by virus hacker... At same time, I was informed by my friend about their email change. -_- How come it can happen like that? Well, it began with the suspected URL from an unknown source that spread to MSN users. Then the users will think the link was sent by their friend and unable to resist their own curiousity, finally give it in and click the URL to open.

Not all virus hacker can be destructive or vulnerable... Depends on the type of virus hacker.. The most important is when you receive an unknown file or website that asked you to download something, DON'T even click or open it... It has a extremely high risk to be attacked or crashed by powerful virus like Trojan.

Alright, herewith my advice for you in order to prevent your MSN being hacked or scammed.
  • DON'T click any unknown URL that is sent to open before making sure with your friends. Always double check with your friends before clicking the URL.
  • If you have clicked the unknown URL by mistake and the website popped out, DON'T worry, it is less harmful and just don't put your email or password.
  • When you receive unknown URL from your friend, close the conversation windows immediately and block your friend for a week (if can).
  • Always scan your PC with anti virus all the time.. And importantly, update your anti virus software every time.
  • NO NEED to change to new email if you are being hacked. Just change your password to new password and try not to open your MSN within a week!

I discovered that among the messenger, MSN is the most messenger that got virus spread over the world. In my personal opinion,the security of MSN is fairly poor...really weak. Anyway, I hope MSN corporation should figure this problem out and try to improve the security level.

My friend, please be careful when you are using MSN messenger. Don't let any URL fool you... Don't think you've won any contest.... Hahahaha..
